Oversight of Research

Each Faculty has a Research Committee (FRC) that meets at least once per semester to consider research issues specific to the Faculty. It also provides feedback on draft papers or conference presentations before they go to senior management for consideration. At present the Faculty Research Chairs are as below.

  • Faculty of Business Management: Dr Veena Tewari
  • Faculty of English Language Studies: Mr Muhammad Tanveer
  • Faculty of Information Technology: Dr D. Ramalingam

The minutes of each FRC go to the College Research Committee (CRC), which has representation from all three Faculties and is chaired by a senior manager. The CRC oversees all aspects of research policy, planning and operations. It reports every semester to the Academic Board.
