Additional Exemption from the ACCA
The BA(Hons) Accounting and the BA(Hons) Business Administration Accounting pathway programmes have been awarded an additional exemption from the ACCA. When a student graduates from one of these programmes at Majan they will now gain 8 exemptions from ACCA papers (over half of the ACCA programme)!
The Faculty of IT is organising a Technofest event on 20th March  2017. The event will unlock multifarious opportunities for the students to showcase their skills and competence in various areas such as build a PC, fix the bug, web design, build a network, ACL Challenge, IT quiz and posters. 

Faculty members of various colleges are invited to submit their ‘Innovative teaching practices’ as an abstract in 200 words. The top ten practices will be selected and invited for presentation on 20th March 2017.

Dar Al Atta

Students of 'Operations Management' showed their care for the community by organising a fund raising campaign and handed over the collected funds to the representative of Dar Al Atta.
Registration is now taking place for the following programmes:

BA (Hons) / DIP HE in Finance         
BA (Hons) / DIP HE in Marketing       
BA (Hons) / DIP HE in Business Administration

BSc (Hons) / DIP HE in E-Business        
BSc (Hons) / DIP HE in Computer & Internet Applications
BSc (Hons) / DIP HE in Networking

* Gain exemptions for 8 of the ACCA papers  (all modules of the degree should be studied at Majan).
Workshop at Saham Vocational Training Centre
Dr Iain McGee, Head of the Faculty of English Language Studies delivered a session on lexical inferencing to English teachers from around Oman at a workshop held at Saham Vocational Training Centre. The workshop was well received and helped session teachers consider the obstacles to successful inferencing and delivering best practice.
