On Tuesday 29th June 2022 Majan University College (MUC) participated in the OERLive Digital Transformation Conference and Award. It is a conference that focuses on digital transformation in the Sultanate under the foresight of Oman Vision 2040. The one-of-its-kind conference that focuses on topics from Artificial Intelligence and FinTech to cybersecurity, Information Technology, Space Research and Metaverse that provides insights into the industry to empower organizations across both the corporate and government sector. Majan University College participated as the Academic Partner in the conference and won the Excellence in E-Learning Integration Award. This award came as an acknowledgment of MUC achievement of making E-Learning during the COVID 19 period a unique experience. Nabila AlMacki, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs at MUC presented Majan University College experience in transformation to online teaching during COVID19 and highlighting MUC as a pioneer in using educational technologies to enrich the learning experience. ALMacki emphasized that MUC provided an innovative learning environment that supports and empowers students to be creative, team players, and inspiring leaders.
